SHRINIDHI’s Quality Policy:

Our quality policy is to consistently provide high-quality steel products while ensuring the safety of our employees and minimizing our environmental impact, all while meeting or exceeding customer expectations and complying with all applicable standards.

Quality Management:

Our comprehensive Quality Management System focuses on customer satisfaction, employee safety, environmental protection, and continuous improvement to ensure the consistent production and delivery of high-quality steel products that meet or exceed industry standards.

SHRINIDHI’s Quality Control Process:
1. Raw Material Inspection:

- Chemical Composition: Verify the chemical composition of the incoming steel billets or blooms against specified grades using techniques like spectroscopy.

- Visual Inspection: Check for surface defects like cracks, laminations, and excessive scale.

- Visual Inspection: Check for surface defects like cracks, laminations, and excessive scale.

2. In-Process Control:

- Heat Treatment: Monitor and control the temperature and time during heat treatment processes (e.g., annealing, normalizing) to achieve the desired mechanical properties.

- Rolling Process Control: Monitor rolling parameters (temperature, speed, roll gap) to ensure consistent product dimensions and minimize defects.

- Cutting and Sawing: Ensure accurate and precise cutting of the steel to the required lengths and shapes.

3. Dimensional Control:

- Length Measurement: Verify the length of each piece of steel using accurate measuring equipment.

- Straightness and Flatness: Check for any deviations from straightness or flatness using appropriate measuring tools.

- Cross-Sectional Area Measurement: Verify the cross-sectional area of the steel to ensure it meets the specified dimensions.

4. Mechanical Property Testing:

- Tensile Test: Determine the tensile strength, yield strength, and elongation of the steel to ensure it meets the specified mechanical properties.

- Impact Test: Assess the steel's resistance to impact loads to ensure adequate toughness.

- Hardness Test: Measure the hardness of the steel to verify its suitability for the intended application.

5. Visual Inspection:

- Surface Quality: Inspect for any surface defects, such as cracks, pits, or excessive scale that could affect the performance or appearance of the product.

- Dimensional Accuracy: Visually inspect the dimensions and shape of the steel to ensure they meet the specified tolerances.

- Prioritize employee safety and well-being: Create a safe and healthy work environment that promotes employee satisfaction and engagement.

6. Non-Destructive Testing (NDT):

- Ultrasonic Testing (UT): Detect internal flaws such as cracks, voids, and inclusions within the steel.

- Magnetic Particle Testing (MT): Detect surface and near-surface defects in ferromagnetic materials.

7. Final Inspection:

- Dimensional Verification: Conduct a final inspection of all critical dimensions to ensure they meet the specified tolerances.

- Dimensional Verification: Conduct a final inspection of all critical dimensions to ensure they meet the specified tolerances.

- Documentation: Document all inspection results and maintain accurate records.

8. Corrective and Preventive Actions:

- Implement corrective actions: Address any identified non-conformances to prevent recurrence.

- Conduct root cause analysis: Investigate the root cause of any quality issues and implement preventive measures to avoid future occurrences.

9. Continuous Improvement:

- Regularly review and update quality control procedures.

- Implement new technologies and techniques to improve quality and efficiency.

- Continuously train and educate employees on quality control procedures.

By implementing a robust quality control system SHRINIDHI ISPAT ensure the production of high-quality products that meet customer requirements and exceed industry standards.
